Nasdaq, CBOE And NYSE Sue SEC To Block Market Data Review Date

Nasdaq, CBOE Global Markets and the New York Stock Exchange have sued the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), seeking to block the SEC s plan to overhaul public data feeds that broadcast stock prices to investors, according to court records.
The plan, which was approved by the SEC in December, threatens the exchange operators’ market data revenue. Market data is a major part of exchanges revenue.

ISLAMABAD: In response to an opinion piece published in The News titled “The prime minister of debt” dated February 10, 2021 regarding increase in public debt during the tenure of the present government in comparison to the previous government (2013-18), the Ministry of Finance has said that the change in the public debt stock during the last two and a half years is primarily the fallout of flawed economic and financial policies of the previous regime.

Sri Lanka Cricket has been summoned before the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) tomorrow (11), Chairman Prof. Charitha Herath said.
The Auditor General s report on the financial years 2017 and 2018 of Sri Lanka Cricket and its performance will be reviewed at the COPE meeting scheduled to meet in Parliament tomorrow (11) at 02:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, it was revealed in Parliament yesterday that SLC has not yet received all the payments due for the recent Lanka Premier League cricket tournament.
This was stated by the Minister of Sports Namal Rajapaksa while answering a question raised by MP Buddhika Pathirana regarding the relevant payments.
